Quality Automotive Training
Staff
Tom
Tom Ziniak, Managing Director of Quality Automotive Training, started the company in January 1999.
Tom completed an Automotive Apprenticeship (1969-1974) and is a qualified Auto Electrician. Having completed his apprenticeship Tom worked in the industry for several years as an Auto Electrician.
Tom decided on a change in career direction and worked in the Automotive Parts Industry and Automotive Sales Industry for a short time. These positions took Tom to management positions, managing parts outlets and an automotive machine shop.
Having completed the Workplace Trainer Category 1 in 1985, Tom embarked on a career in Automotive Training. Tom has since completed the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40104) and the Diploma in Training and Assessment (TAA50104)
Other achievements include:
- Writing and Presenting the first Traineeship in SA
(Service Station)
- National Project Manager for Automotive Competency

- Managing an Automotive Training Department for 14 years
- Preparing various Training Resource Materials for Sales
Trainees
- Preparing/conducting the Licensed Sales Professional
Diploma (LSPD) Training Program with the co-operation of MTA (SA)
- Preparing/conducting the Heavy Vehicle Sales Diploma (HVSD)
Training Program in conjunction with the MTA (SA)
- Conducting Vehicle Sales Training Programs in both NT and
SA.
- Writing various Resources / Workbooks for the Automotive Industry.
Frank
Frank Erichsdotter, Senior Training Consultant has been with Quality Automotive Training since its beginning in January 1999.
Frank started as an apprentice Motor Mechanic in 1968, working on everything from Mini’s to Army Tanks. Over the years he has worked in Service Stations, Vehicle Dealerships and a Vehicle Manufacturer, progressing through various Automotive Industry positions. These have included Technical, Middle Management and Training Positions.
Conducting training and education in the Automotive Industry since 1987, has provided Frank with the continuous ongoing challenge of meeting today’s automotive service industry needs.
Frank co-ordinates and supervises trainees who attend Quality Automotive Training’s facility. He is also involved with the School Automotive Vocational Programs conducted by Quality Automotive Training. As well Frank conducts Small Business Training and Technical updates for the Automotive Industry, and is a Member of the Institute of Automotive and Mechanical Engineers (MIAME).
Frank has completed his Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40104)
Robert
Robert Wall, Training Consultant commenced employment with QAT in May 2010.
Robert Wall started as an apprentice Motor Mechanic in 1969. On completion of his apprenticeship spent time in New Zealand in B.M.C. dealerships. On his return worked in vehicle dealerships and fleet management companies working on various types of vehicles from passenger cars, trucks and forklifts including battery electronic forklifts. While working for these companies has held various positions up to and including Service Manager.
Robert has completed his Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAA40104) and will soon be updated to the (TAE40104) Qualification.
Sophie
Sophie Worso, Administration Trainee commenced employment with QAT in July 2011.
Sophie is learning to create, update and maintain data records. She answers incoming calls, takes and relays messages to the right person at QAT.
As well, Sophie Worso assists the Managing Director and Training Supervisors in achieving the desired operational outcomes for QAT’s various services.
Sophie will soon commence training in the Certificate III in Automotive Administration Qualification (AUR30105)
